Easy and free parking. Minimal staff. Decent size room. Had to haul suitcases upstairs then down a few again to get to the room. Good restaurant but understaffed.

Comfortable hotel with very good food.
Posted 13 Aug 2018 on HotelsThis was an overnight stay on our way south. It is easy to get to from the motorway. Our room was at the back and was quiet. The bed was big and very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. Paint Aubrey is a small village on the main road from Avalon to Vezaley. Overall I thought it was good value and would return if we were in the area.

One night Stay

Location: Small typical pleasant French rural town. We had an excellent meal at the smaller hotel down the road (opposite side) to the hotel we stayed in
Pleasant staff who could understand our basic French but helped out with English if needed!
Room good although ones at the front are on the main road. Good double glazing to stop the road noise but means you can't really have the window open so room with a family 4 in was a bit too hot overnight.
Breakfast good. Didn't have dinner as most of our family are vegetarian or eat fish and menu was mainly meat.
Overall a good place to stay as a break from travelling on the A6

Good overnight location
Posted 11 Apr 2018 on HotelsWe stayed overnight on our way back from skiing and it is very convenient as its 10 min from A6 and 10 min from the beautiful medieval town of Vézelay.
Room was good enough for us, although it had a persistent smell and had to leave window open quite a bit to get the smell out. Breakfast was good enough too, but no vegetables offerred for instance and to pay 36 EUR for 2 adults and 2 children with a fairly limited choice is on the steep side. But there is no other option around if you want to ear something in the morning. The homemade yoghurt was delicious.
All in all a good overnight choice. Probably would stay again

Lovely hotel in a delightful part of France. Expedia however is a terrible booking site and I will never be using them again.

Wonderful stopover hotel
Posted 22 Oct 2015 on HotelsSmall room but everything else about hotel wonderful. Comfy bed and great shower. Breakfast was soft boiled eggs, yogurt, croissants and homemade confitures. Would stay again!
