Not as advertised, question the reviews

Upon arriving after a long drive the security guard that greeted was very friendly. We got our keys after a bit of a wait. We were first taken to the smaller room than booked and had to go back to reception. We were then given another family sized room but not as advertised. If fact the room booked apparently doesn’t exist. No load shedding protection, which wasn’t advertised but would have been helpful at the nightly rate. The room was clean and suitable. What really killed the stay was no working remotes, so no aircon. Further to that I was there with my 2 young children who were kept up long past midnight due to drunken revellers and no management asking them to respect others as is mentioned on their signage. We didn’t stay our second night or eat breakfast so can’t comment on that.

Good day Daniel, thank you for reaching out to us. We are very disheartened that you had a bad experience at our establishment. Please advise if you come to Polokwane on a regular basis. If you do, please book your family unit with breakfast. Management quarters are not close to the guest rooms and we are not aware of the noise the other guests made. Please accept our most sincere apologies for that, if we knew about it we would have reprimanded them. The owner's cell number is in the room on a laminated document and he can be contact at any time. We are saving up for inverters with the loadshedding. Please feel free to contact us.

This is a very friendly, value for money place. Excellent restaurant and my grandkids loved it. Best apartment (and cleanest) that we had with the various b&b's we stayed at on our recent holiday

Place is secure and cozy but something can be done with the breakfast choices and parking as on a busy night it can be challenging to find a spot close to the room. Overall it’s alright for the price.
