I stay often at 5* properties and this one checks every box. I was a bit concerned of staying here without having a car, but it’s very accessible even by a tuk from the train station. When you’re at the property they can arrange private transportation to get you anywhere you need to go as well.
The property is beautiful, well maintained and excellent staff that goes out of their way to make the experience wonderful.

Wonderful introduction to Puglia
Posted 8 Sep 2022 on HotelsThe Mazarelli Creative resort is an exceptional property. It is a beautifully renovated villa decorated with excellent taste and functionality. Each room appears to have it’s own entrance and patio area. You are surrounded by fruit and olive trees. It’s so serene. Ciara is a delightful hostess. They serve a delicious breakfast in a lovely outdoor setting. Highly recommend.

It is a lovely hotel and people are so nice but the walls were very thin in our room and we could hear our neighbours even just cough!

Thé wifi was pathetic. We were in the Royal Suite but had little, if any signal. As we were going to a family wedding, it was very important to keep in touch. I felt that staff didn’t care and we were told that « it’s in the countryside » well so we’re all the hotels we stayed in on the way through France and Italy. The wedding venue, 2kms away, also i the countryside, had excellent WiFi.
Definitely not 5*. We’ve stayed in 5* hotels all round the world and this LOOKs good but is very disappointing. For example, for four nights stay we only had two little bottles of complimentary water the first day when the temperature was about 28 degrees. Toiletries were the same as in Agrotourismo. The design of the room looks good but is totally impractical if you have a lot of luggage.
The road to the hotel is like a dirt track, that is, if you manage to find the place. Very difficult to locate.
Don’t bother with the restaurant.
Thé breakfast area (and restaurant) allows dogs and we saw a dog being sick on the table and then it was allowed to wander back in and approach us.
This is a stylish hotel which could be excellent

thank you for feedback, we appreciate so much your review upon Mazzarelli resort. we are improving the wifi line and we are aware about this disservice, but let me say that our staff wasn't lacking of kindness and courtesy during your stay. we were all the times available and at your disposal as with all of our inner guests. we are in the countryside and the road follows the beauty of the nature's style as the design inspired to our amazing taylor made Mr mazzarelli. Finally, we are sorry that you did not notice (as soon as you booked the room) that our resort is pet friendly.

Posted 10 Jul 2019 on HotelsMazzarelli creative is in a really beautiful area of Puglia, and very convenient to Polignano e Mare and the beaches about an hour south of there. The rooms are very large and spacious and clean. The furniture is totally nice but not luxurious. The dinner there is top notch. One of the two best meals we had. The breakfast offering is a bit lackluster. For example, the scrambled eggs sitting in the hot holder were dried out. I would definitely stay here again overall though.
