It was okay for the night. However, the flies and no pool was an issue for us

It was old and the pool was 'closed', really?? At the start of summer?? We had a 10yr old with us, and because they were too cheap to fix the pool for the amount of money they charge, we left ...we did not stay there. Flies were everywherd in the 'check in desk area' and you had to call a number to get someone to help you. Ridiculous!!

Staff was very nice and friendly but i was not impressed with the rooms. They need to do a better job of cleaning the rooms. It's dusty. The floors need cleaning. And the blankets/ bedding is old and stains can be seen here and there. The bathroom wasn't clean either. They really nedd to do a better job of cleaning.

The room was very dirty. The couch had visible signs and stains of pure dirt on the arms of the couch as well as the back of the couch. There was peeling on the walls throughout the room. The bathroom showerhead had so much rust on it that I didn’t dare get into the shower and if I had, I would have been standing in rusty water because the rust from the showerhead had also stained the tub, on top of those things, there were so many flies in the room that it seemed as if something had died in the room although it did not smell like anything had died the flies were excessive. This was the case outside the room as well as they were very visible on my car .

This motel is in the right location for someone who wants a stopping point between Ocean City/Assateague and Chincoteague. It's being renovated, so some minor work may remain to be done (May 2024), but overall the room is in good condition. There's some highway noise at night, but I was able to fall asleep.
