Over-priced hotel with dated interior in desperate need for renovation. No air conditioning in room. Only reason to book is that it is close to the lakes.

A spectacular park, but not so spectacular hotel
Posted 19 Oct 2023 on HotelsDisappointing. It was supposed to be a lakeside hotel, but there is no view at all as the room is blocked by a tree and beside an abandoned building. Very aged hotel. Also inconsistent service at front desk - first night was a seamingly uninterested guy, but our following nights were more pleasant with a very friendly and helpful lady (i think Marja was her name, but apologies if i have spelt her name wrongly).
Pillow was way to soft and uneven; which does not provide any support to the head or neck for a proper rest.
Not much options for food for breakfast, and quality of food could be improved too.
The only saving grace was the proximity to the national park.

Excellent location, you can have part of park to yourself after park closures and tourist crowds have left. Both breakfast and dinner are wonderful, we stay overnight for lovely Plitvice National Park, very relaxing and rewarding.

You come here to see the natural beauty of the waterfalls. Enjoy it! The staff and service is amazing. Good dinner is a 5 minute away at the next hotel. Good food and service there as well.

As l read previous reviews l felt l did not stay at the same hotel. On the positive side it was very close proximity to the park entrance and the staff were somewhat helpful. On the negative side the hotel was very dated which looked and felt like it has had no upgrades since the 70’s. The room had a strange smell, stains on the carpet, no air conditioning, an awkward window to leave open and the breakfast was average. For the price paid l would have expected much better.

Great location and beautiful architecture! Breakfast was good and being able to walk into the park was so great. This hotel is even closer to the park entrance than the park parking lots are!
