Disappointed
Posted 23 Sep 2023 on HotelsGreat potential but disappointing. At check in, we were brought to 4 different rooms - one of which was occupied, before being brought to the correct room. This was okay and we were given a bottle of wine as an apology and offered welcome drinks in our room. The drinks did not arrive, we had to go downstairs after waiting for an hour. The room was lovely and we had been left chocolates however it was noisy - I think there may have been some sort of machine directly under our room? Sounded like a washing machine. Dinner was on the pricier side but nice and service at dinner good. Breakfast service wasn’t great, we were directed to a table then had to ask for a menu and coffee after 10 minutes of waiting. Our order was taken and then was wrong when it arrived. We were not asked how our stay was at check out. We still had a lovely time but compared to some of the other fantastic hotels we have stayed in along the garden route, this one was disappointing.

FANTASTIC stay
Posted 4 Oct 2021 on HotelsWOW WOW WOW! What a GORGEOUS property! The view of Plettenberg Bay from our room and the pool area cannot be matched. The hotel is unique and special and the service was fantastic from all staff. Warm, friendly greetings from every single person we met, and no request was too much. The food was delicious, the bed was comfortable , the room was gorgeous. A MUST stay if going to Plett.
