Unique and utterly charming. Our 1-night stay was quick so we didn’t get to enjoy the accommodations as much as we would’ve liked. Private bathroom assigned to our bedroom was modern and clean. Twin beds in our room were comfy. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Pittsburgh. Host Mary Beth was wonderful.

The inside of the property was amazing a nice sophisticated look to it, very quiet which was good. And good location with good views and eats

The hosts were so friendly as well as the other guests. Hanging out at breakfast with everyone was very relaxing & fun. The private bathrooms were very clean and bright. We will return.

Just don’t stay here, very sketchy
Posted 16 Sep 2023 on HotelsSmall, sketchy area, no parking lot. Tons of winding stairs, a maze to go through. No bathroom in the room. No air conditioning.

We are the first to say, “We aren’t for everyone.”We operate a unique, 8 room, independent, European style hotel that caters to guests interested in an authentic Pittsburgh experience. We work to ensure the information on third party sites is as accurate as possible, yet they sometimes get overlooked. As our description includes: our private bathrooms are down the hall, our building is from the 1880s so has no elevators, our hotel is surrounded by ample street parking, the air conditioning is centrally controlled, and our hometown is a mid-sized post-industrial city. We're sorry we didn't meet your expectation, but, as we understand it, we're just not a good fit.You also mentioned “staff & services” and “cleanliness” under your concerns. This surprised us as these are not preferences but central to our services. We pride ourselves on keeping our century old building in near immaculate condition and maintaining stellar stuff experiences - both of which are praised in almost every review we’ve ever received. We would love any specific feedback that could assist us on improving for the future!
