Great place to stay, lovely owners, huge places to go on the property, firepits, pool, spas, outdoor seating, etc

Lovely countryside location
Posted 6 Jan 2020 on HotelsExcellent room and access to a swimming pool although we didn’t use it. Lots of supplies to cook your own breakfast at a time to suit yourself. Good location to explore some of the beaches on the central coast such as Terrigal and Avoca.

We missed fridge in our room, and there is no fly screens on doors or windows.
Also, no hand towels.
Outside veranda dirty, a lot of dust.
Nice big property but need more attention around house, both verandas full of furniture and bags !
Owner need some help to keep it tidy.

Hi There,
Sorry about no hand towels, must have just been over looked by the cleaners, as we are fully air conditioned, we don't have fly screens on all windows and doors.
As for the layer of dust everywhere, unfortunately with the fires and lack of rain over the last few months theres very little any of us can do to keep the dust at bay.

Great peaceful place to stay ! Wouldve prefereed booking direct off The acreage rather than dealing with lastminute..

Like: the surounding gardens, location.
Dislike: place is a bit run down, host not onsite all tne time, walls are thin so can hear a lot of other noise. Only one toilet paper roll, needed to cook our own breakfast, did not receive our 'welcome gift'.

Hi David,
Thanks for your review, the gardens here are lovely, a labour of love for me. We are currently remodelling all the rooms and common areas, will be finished in time for summer. Can do much about the walls, but to be honest don't get many people mentioning that. We are a guest house so have always provided Breakfast hampers, as most guests prefer this, so they can manage there own timetable. Not sure about your Welcome Gift as we don't offer that, so there must be some confusion there, if you found it some where on line, please send it to me, as it must be very old.
