"Brilliant hotel. The pictures don’t do it justice - it is a brilliant hotel with excellent service right in the heart of London. It really is what a Four Seasons Hotel should be. "
"This is the loveliest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Period. It embraces old world England yet offers all the modern amenities. It feels, tastes and embraces all things British which I loved. Yes, it’s very expensive but, in this case, I felt it was worth it. "

"We had a lovely stay here. The sole working lift did stop working which was clearly causing issues. Unfortunately with old buildings like this one it is ‘just one of those things’. Once both lifts are fully operational there will, hopefully, be less of a problem if one stops working. It didn’t put us off staying again (and we were on the 6th floor!) Our room was lovely and the included minibar a welcome extra at the end of long days on our feet exploring London!"
"Centrally located within walking distance to almost everything! Picadilly Circus tube entrance is about 50 steps away! It was my first time staying in a hostel and capsule. The capsules are pretty sound proof especially with the fan running to circulate air. All the guests staying were respectful and quiet in the capsule areas. Those that wanted to visit went to the end of the room to talk quietly. No one messed with anyone's things. I felt safe and my items secure at all times. The big suitcases were left at the end of the room. During the day, I just put my small suitcase on my bed and pulled the door down. Very few used locks on their doors. I always took my credit card and passport with me for the day. The bed was comfortable and warm. You're given a big fluffy towel to use. I suggest bringing a small hand towel. It was annoying to carry a big bulky towel if I just wanted to wash my face or brush my teeth. Bring flip flops for bathrooms. The showers we're nice and warm but I agree with the biggest complaint of the push buttons to get water. The water runs for only 10 seconds and you have to push the button again. The problem was the button was constantly getting stuck. Everyday I walked into the bathroom and a shower button was stuck on and flooding a third of the bathroom! There needs to be a regular handle on the showers. I also suggest a curtain to block water from hitting the bench and wetting your dry clothes while you shower. And fix the elevator! Only 1 worked!"
"Get the breakfast, especially if you're a coffee user. Best deal in London. The President is about 125 meters from the tube on the line that goes to/from Heathrow, so airport access is a dream. Friendly pub between the hotel and the tube. Our room was small but the space was efficiently used. Staff could not have been nicer. All in all a great stay in a great location. Would stay again."
"I’m so excited to finally write this review! It took me a little longer because I lost the concierge’s card, and I’m terrible with names—I believe his name was Rashid. I hate not being sure how to spell it, but he truly saved my stay in London.
I was in the city for just one night to attend a gala event for the Design et al Awards. Unfortunately, the airline lost my luggage with absolutely everything in it—my gala dress, shoes, makeup, everything! When I arrived at the hotel, I had only a couple of hours before the event. I walked in, explained what had happened (while crying like a baby), and Rashid immediately stepped in to help.
He encouraged me to go up to my room, wash my face, and not give up. He even lent me a phone charger, gave me directions to the nearest stores, and reminded me not to let this ruin my opportunity to receive an award. Thanks to him, I managed to get what I needed—and we ended up winning! I would have been disqualified if it weren’t for him.
On top of that, the bed was super comfy, and the location is perfect. But honestly, it’s this kind of service that makes all the difference. Rashid—you’re a hero! I’ll definitely be staying here again."
