"For solo travelers, there’s no bar. Only a fine dining restaurant. I tried to go in for a drink and the staffed looked at me rudely, spoke to me rudely bc I was just trying to have a drink. The bathrooms have no door. Not welcoming for solo travelers. Restaurant/Bar is high end and not at all welcoming to solo guests just stopping by. "

"We have stayed at the City Sleeper or its alter ego Royal National biannually for over 20 years. A clean place to lay your head with an excellent helpful staff makes it a wonderful place. A short distance from the Russell Square stop and only 2 blocks from a Waitrose (rumor has it that it may close for recursing) with shopping center with goo, numerous places to eat makes it even better"

"Upon arrival we found out that the restaurant was closed and that we would have to request a refund after our stay. First day everything worked in the room but the second day the AC stopped working and the room got swelteringly hot, windows did not open so we tried to get the AC working, staff came to check on it and said “we reset it, it will be working again in 15-20 minutes”. SURPRISE!!! It didn’t, third day same process nothing worked. On the fourth day a young employee from the front desk came up and in 5 minutes he had the AC working. More importantly, he stayed there to confirm it was actually cooling before leaving."
