The Palm Hotel and Spa is located in a beautiful part of Reunion Island surrounded by lush scenery and gorgeous beaches. The hotel facilities were top notch and the staff were exceptionally accommodating and bent over backwards to give our family the best experience possible. The only downside is that there is a slight trade off with the location. While it is stunning, being further south meant that travel time to the main attractions of the island is a bit longer, roughly 1.5 hours to the volcano, cirques, Le Maido, etc...

Very nice hotel. Rooms nice but Not luxurious, also suffer from detious traffic noise, being close to a busy road. The dining, pools, spa and bars are very good. Note that there are many families and kids, didnt bother us, but if youre looking for romantic couples place, take into account....

Great and only worth 5* hotel in La Teunion

Posted 13 Jan 2018 on Hotels
The Palm is probably the only 5 star hotel of La Reunion. Nice entrance, plenty of parking and polite customer service. Swimming pool was big and nice overall. There is a small section called the beach, with sand that made you feel a bit closer to the sea even though it's next to the swimming pool. There is no beach close as there are sharks in the area. Through a parñth you can go to a natural pool next to the sea. Hotel has a jacuzzi with nice views. Lunch in the bar pool was tasty with more summery options. Dinner can be a la carte or buffet. Nice quality. In general a nice experience even though for moments the rain appeared. Rooms were well distributed, spacious and clean. The bed was magnificent, make you feel cozy straight away.

Amazing hotel, phenomenal location, pools and rooms. Best hotel on Reunion Island. The restaurants are expensive so don't be afraid to venture out to st Pierre.

Location: Don't miss the scenic drive to the volcano
Beautiful location with stunning view over the ocean. Excellent facilities and helpful staff. Main dining room serves good food. All lounges, restaurants, lobby and bar are open to the fresh air. Which is fine if you don't mind sharing your space and sometimes food with the birds, and can tolerate the drafts. The rather poor beach is public and accessible by 15 minute hike on a fairly precipitous path, or by shuttle. But there are two well maintained pools. The lunch menu at the cafe was well presented but looked a bit Brake Bros.
