Beer garden n food was lovely ,very relaxing .
Staff were helpfull .Rooms not big but comfortable enough.
The paving and small steps out side in beer garden could be smoothed out bit of a trip hazzard .

Old building but well maintained and the room was clean in well looked after.

Room has some renovations to modernize it, had a kettle, fridge, and microwave. Would have rated it average but it was very noisy. Trains went by about every 15 minutes (horn, general rumbling, and the bells ringing while the intersection was blocked), and the air unit would rattle loudly every 5 to 10 seconds. Found a hair in the bathroom that wasn't mine.

Thanks for staying Patrick and for your feedback. Sorry to read that we didn't hit the mark for you on your stay. Our cleaning team do an exceptional job and very rarely miss a beat. I am sorry to read that they did miss a hair in the bathroom and I have advised them of this. They send apologies. We have looked into and fixed the aircon unit - again, so sorry about this. Can you please contact the hotel so we can discuss your experience further and hopefully turn this around so you can experience our offering at our usual high standards?
