As a 19-year-old, I was severely mistreated by the owner of the room we stayed in. He made a comment run into the postbox across the road with my car, asked when I would be leaving and outlined where to leave the keys when we left. That was the extent of our conversation throughout my 3-day stay. The amenities weren't as advertised. There was no kitchen to use and we had to wash our dishes in the bathroom sink. No kitchen knives were provided, no dishwashing detergent, no sponge, no additional bin bags for the minuscule bin we had and only 2 water bottles for "complimentary water". I also wasn't aware that the room was shared, meaning there was a family living in the house as well. All there was dividing us and the family was an extremely thin sliding door, we could hear every move the family made and I'm sure they could hear us as well. For their "bed and breakfast" to be successful they must add soundproofing or at least a better door to separate the two areas. I don't usually leave reviews like this and I'm honestly saddened to, I didn't enjoy my stay and will not visit again.

Excellent place to stay. Very clean and tidy. The owner communicates really well and answers any queries quickly. Breakfast, tea, coffee supplied. Bed linen was fresh. TVs in lounge and bedroom. Nice and private. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys.
