I enjoyed the separate living room/ dining room/kitchen. Lots of space and wee- equipped Kitchen. Nice location on the beach and near to restaurants and downtown. Good price for such a big space.

Cons: It was fine
Location: Fine
For the last 3years I have gone to Penticton to play bridge.
First time at Black Sea.
Next year I am going back to the Black Sea.
Nice people and clean motel.

Posted 21 Jan 2016 on HotelsVery comfortable and quiet motel right on the beach. The motel was in a nice location, literally right across from the lake and there were quite a few nice restaurants within walking distance.
The motel is a bit older but there have been some renovations and overall was a good value.

Pros: It was quiet - no noisy boilers/heating systems keeping one awake at night
Cons: Larger towels would have been nice
Location: In the tourist area with the lake across the road.
This is not a new building, however, the 2 room suite was clean and comfortable. Ditto for the bedroom. I would definitely stay here again.

Motel with a view of the lake

Pros: It was clean and affordable: $90 for 2 for the night.
Cons: The motel could use a updating & a facelift, eg new curtains, linens, etc.
Location: The location was fine...walking distance to the main streets for dining, the market, etc.
The motel was right across the street from the lake, with a lake view. The hosts were very nice, helpful & welcoming. The rooms were very clean, but a bit old & tired.
