Thomas, you no showed on this reservation. On the 2nd day you were due to be here we reached out to see if you were coming, and you informed us you decided not to come due to the weather. Here is the exact message you sent us- "My fishing trip has been cancelled due to weather. I understand there is no cancellation refund. I have been to your property every other year for the running if the bulls (redfish) in Pensacola bay. I would appreciate some sort of credit for my reschedule or next years trip. I called your reservation desk. Without some sort of accommodation for reschedule I will be taking my business to another property."So, it seems our rating of 1, is due to the fact you missed your fishing trip, decided not to show up, and then expect a full refund.Reviews are meant to be honest representations of your stay, not retaliatory for monetary reasons for something out of our control regarding your stay that are not valid.

The property was nice. The rooms were clean. There was a couple light bulbs burnt out and the a/c had a small issue but otherwise was nice. The bad thing was that this property is apparently seaonsal and we were not told that some of the restuarnts were closed and that there was no where on site to have breakfast includong the continental breakfast that was also closed due to seasonal. The only option was srarbucks for a coffee and bagel. Even starbucks does not make breakfast sandwiches during the "seasonal shutdoen". So no breakfast all week. That should be advertised as when you go to florida you dont plan on seasonal shutdowns.

Thank you for your feedback Darrell as we do appreciate it. The Starbucks in our Market only serves beverages year round. Both restaurants at Portofino are open year round - Coastal and Al Fresco.
