A lovely property and lovely people.
Very comfortable bed.
Everywhere was very clean.
There was perhaps some need for improvements in some areas but only standard wear and tear. Nothing to spoil the stay.
Far enough out of town to be away from any noise but close enough to access on foot.
A good base for Ullswater and other lake district locations.
Overall I would definitely recommend this place for comfort and convenience oh and a cracking breakfast 😊

Excellent service and attention to detail at Norcroft Guest House. Great location being only a short walk into town. Our room was spacious and very clean.
Breakfast had a wide range of choices and was great.
Mark and Paula were friendly and helpful hosts. I would highly recommend.

Having arrived after a long day on the road, we were welcomed by both the owners and offered a delicious slice of cake which was amazing! The Room was immaculate, clean and tidy with plenty of space. The Guest House is in the perfect location that its quiet and within easy walking distance to the Town Centre which has plenty of restaurants on offer.
The Breakfast was delicious and was delivered straight to your room.
The Owners are both very kind, attentive & they are excellent hosts.

Characterful, clean, efficient. Mark and his wife have only taken over the business a week ago, they were very kind, attentive. They are excellent hosts.
