Parking was a problem. My wife would have liked a light over the mirror but overall we enjoyed our stay

Posted 9 Mar 2024 on HotelsFantastic stay, lovely decor, comfy bed, clean room and bathroom. Service was excellent. We are in the restaurant for dinner and couldn’t fault it. Breakfast was included, choice, service and food were all excellent.

Great hotel!
Posted 15 Jan 2024 on HotelsAbsolutely loved this hotel. The rooms are really nice and the bar and restaurant area are lovely too. Toiletries were the White Company and in bigger bottles so much more eco friendly as it wasn’t the small single use ones that most other hotels insist on using. We had our dog with us and it’s probably the most dog friendly hotel we’ve stayed in. And the location means there’s a lovely walk along the lake in the woods on the doorstep. Our only criticism was the bedroom was absolutely roasting and we couldn’t figure out why as we turned all the radiators off and even had the window open all night (in January!). Would love to go back in the summer and make the most of the outdoor terrace.

Great clean hotel. Would recommend very highly.
I am not a person who often leaves reviews but feel these guys more than deserve it.
