Good communication prior to arrival as we were arriving outside normal check-in hours. Clean and comfortable facilities gave us a great night's sleep. Very good breakfast served by a host who was genuinely friendly and welcoming. Only there for one night as on our way elsewhere but definitely a place to use if staying in Penrith.

Posted 5 Mar 2024 on HotelsJust spent a great couple of days in Penrith staying at Abbey House. This fabulous b&b is right in the heart of Penrith so you can park up and easily walk everywhere. Vicki, the owner, is so welcoming with lots of tips on local restaurants etc. The house is immaculate, I'm a clean freak and the place was absolutely spotless. We stayed in room 4 which was very spacious with a lovely ensuite and a very comfy bed. Breakfast is served in the attractive dining room with a good selection of fruit & cereals and a variety of cooked options. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back.

Overstay stay on route to Scotland
