Excellent value for money. This is a fantastic apartment unit from which to launch your Bermuda vacation. The property is located a short walk away from the beautiful Admiralty House Park and 5 minutes away from Hamilton. The hosts took care of everything we needed, including arranging taxis, and even delivered ice cold bottled water on-demand. 5/5 star experience!

Started rough but ended good.

Tried multiple time to contact property owner via phone, text, and email. No response. Arrived at 4:00 pm and no one there. Called and owner answered and gave direction as to get in property. Upon entry found bed not made, one pillow, no sheets/blankets, no wifi, no instructions, etc. wet towels in the dryer. Sitting there thinking it’s for only one night we resolved to make it through the night. Shortly there was a knock at the door and the property owner was there. She explained she had just arrived from New York were she went with her two daughters for the youngest graduation present. We started asking about various things and she became obviously upset, apologized, and said her husband was to had everything done. She left to get the sheets, information booklet, etc. When she came back she said her husband had stopped to watch the football match (soccer) and never finished cleaning and preparing the apartment for us.

Awesome!

We had a fabulous time staying at the Lemon and Ginger Vacation Rental. The location was great for us - so near to the very special Admiralty House National Park for swimming, cliff diving and snorkeling. Also, Spanish Point - about 20 minutes walk was so beautiful! Jenita was the consummate host and we look forward to returning!

Live like a Local

I stayed at Lemon and Ginger 4 nights during a recent business trip to Bermuda. The apartment is lovely with all amenities you need including full kitchen, Keurig, private patio, laundry etc. There is a nice smart TV and comp wifi. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bathroom has shower/tub combo. There are 2 A/C units which you will need as it is pretty hot here. They work great and work right away. This location is off the beaten path so you are in a nice neighborhood called "Spanish Point" in the Pembroke Parish that is very safe and homey. You can easily walk to a wonderful hidden gem called "Admiral House Park" and explore the caves, cliff diving, coves and all the beautiful nature, birds, flora etc. You will certainly need a taxi to get anyplace else but Hamilton and downtown Front Street are only 10 minutes away by car. Lucky for you, Cal and Frank live next door and they have a fabulous, efficient, affordable and reliable taxi service. This really makes a big difference trust me. It's $10 to Front Street and you'll want to download "What's App" App to easily communicate and pre-book (although I was last minute a few times and it worked out no problem). Jenita operates Lemon and Ginger and it's evident she truly cares. She contacted me a few times prior to visit to touch base and she checked in during the visit as well. She has many tips, tours, maps, guides and recommendations for you and is a proud and passionate Bermudian. You are in good hands with Jenita!

Excellent location, felt like home!

What a wonderful place to stay! The location is in a great residential area, just across the street from a beautiful beach and maybe a 10 minute moped ride into Hamilton. The space is great! Plenty of room for us, super clean, the bed was really comfy!( deep sleep every night!) Having a full kitchen was a plus and we definitely used it! Jenita was an awesome host who made us feel like part of the family and offered help and guidance whenever we needed it. The experience of staying at Lemon and Ginger wasn't just about the space ( which is great!) but also about the people-- we felt right at home immediately!

What a perfect place to stay on vacation! close to some of the best little parks in Bermuda don't miss sunset at Spanish point, exploring the reef at the local park, discover the tunnels and turquoise waters and (for the daring) jump off a cliff just a short stroll from your home away from home. Renita was wonderful and welcoming. The nicely equipped kitchen along with the washer and dryer made beach going fun and her directions to out of the way places (like wild caves with deep warm pools to swim between stalactites and stalagmites) were priceless and not something you would expect to find as a tourist. Be sure to try the Art-Mels fish sandwich! Our quiet neighborhood quickly felt like home and it was only moments from some of the best attractions in Bermuda. If we ever get back I would not want to stay anywhere else.

Lemon and Ginger B & B, Bermuda

Posted 31 May 2018 on Hotels
Fully furnished, beautiful B & B in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Property Owner Jenita was so nice and helpful! A five minute walk to one of the island's best attractions: swimming, snorkeling, and cliff jumping into the ocean from Admiralty House Park! Spanish Point Boat Club open to the general public is located a short walk in opposite direction with a Mom and Pop type grocery store with all the essentials located along the way (within a 10 minute walk from the property.)

Full apartment, quiet neighborhood

Posted 21 Feb 2018 on Travelocity
Pros: Well equipped kitchen...some basic spices, oil, vinegar were all in the cupboard. It was a full apartment - living/dining/kitchen plus bedroom.
This pretty and quiet neighborhood is quite accessible by bus to the main bus terminal in Hamilton. Buses run only once an hour in the middle of the day - but more frequently in the morning and afternoon. We got to all ends of the Bermuda using the bus lines - purchase a pass! This apartment is quite well equipped for folks like us who like to eat many of our meals in - it saves a lot of money. A well stocked, large grocery store is one block from the bus station in Hamilton. Jenita and George were wonderful hosts. They helped us with touring information and instructions on how to make sure the apartment was well ventilated in this moist island climate. We stayed a week...would love to spend the winter here!
