Celebrattion birthday treat.

Beautifull decor inside with a separate lounge and two other areas for breakfast and dinner. very friendly staff,who allowed us to check in early after a six hour journey.room was beautiful and comfortable,met some friendly locals, who recomended some places to visit. Cooked breakfast was very good and plenty of choice of continental.we had dinner on the evening of my birthday,the the food was very good,the atmosphere was great.the evening staff were very friendly and welcoming. we had a great time, a perfect place for relaxing and some peace and quiet.

Lovely hotel
Posted 22 Jan 2024 on HotelsLove the hotel the staff were fantastic very clean beautiful grounds lovely pool just as I was on the west wing I think ..the noise from the ventilation or what ever it was kept me from having a good sleep .. and the breakfast was bearly cooked no colour on the sausage or bacon practically cold beans served in a cold pot on a cold plate..

Lows: we had the family suite on the ground floor. The walls and ceilings are paper thin. Woke up by the coughing and wheezing of the guests upstairs. Every footstep sounded like it was coming through the ceiling.
Shower. 1975 called, they want it back. No water pressure. Almost impossible to set it to hot.
The rooms are filthy in the places where you can easily see. Under the beds. Under the wardrobes, etc. These are easily moveable as we found out to retrieve an item that rolled under the wardrobe. It came out caked in dust and filth. Do the guests a favour and clean under there once a week.

Lovely scenic hotel
Posted 27 Dec 2023 on HotelsLovely location, character hotel. Stayed in family annex just away from main hotel. Nice room and separate room for children. Was nice but would of liked more information at booking that the room was not in the main hotel building, especially as was premium rate.
