Lovely 2day stay at the horseshoe inn with our cockapoo Bentley. Very cosy, food was amazing. Staff very attentive and organised.Definitely recommended.

The bed & pillows needed updated, television needed mounted higher. Clearer restaurant ordering instruction. i.e. explanations of the bill for non-Scotland residents.

Lovely room. Paid to Upgraded to superior room but was put in to a normal room which was a bit disappointing Went to the horseshoe bar for dinner the food and service was amazing. Service from excellent from the staff.

Room really big & comfy. Had my dog with me and he was well received and looked after in the pub. Stayed for the evening meal steak pie , mash & peas which after lots of travel was a comfort. Good selection of IPA's and guiness. The accomdation is seperate from the pub, so no noise issue and u can walk home (1min). I will be staying again.....all staff were really helpful and friendly..didnt want to leave!

The service was shocking, went fora wedding at the Barony, checked in and was not told the place closed and that I had to go round the side of the building to access my room, stood in the cold and rain trying to phone to get in where I couldn't get an answer. Had to return to the Barony and pay for another room. The next day I went in to complain, the owner then proceeded to shout at me and lie saying I had been told and that her husband told me, blatant lie as it was a younger guy who gave me the key. This so called business women proceeded to shout at me and then just walked away refusing a refund. Incredibly unprofessional and rude.
