Dear Heath. I first want to start off by apologizing to you for the subpar experience you had when staying at the Holiday Inn Express. As you've noticed, we are currently in the midst of light construction. Due to this fact, that can unfortunately have an impact on availability. As one floor closes, a newly renovated floor opens up. For you to have had such an unpleasant stay is unacceptable as our mission is to provide our guests with the best possible experience. We value your feedback, and we will work diligently to make improvements accordingly. Thank you again for your honest review as it will help us implement a new structure. The beds were awesome. The hot breakfast was good. But they didn’t have coffee made after it was out. I told staff but apparently they were busy. The hot tube & pool were under construction. It does say that when we booked it. I was not happy. Since we drove from Wisconsin all day. It would have been nice to get in the hot tub

Very nice night & day front desk staff, friendlier than the Amarillo TX staff by far and the breakfast was better and they let us take a small breakfast to our elderly parents room! Amarillo front desk employee Linda, you could learn a lot from how to treat guests right, like Paul’s Valley Oklahoma Holiday Inn….hospitality super stars!

Everything was good I wish they would have told me the pool was under construction when I made my reservation

The rooms are great and the property clean. Unfortunately I book hotels that have a pool and hot tub and this hotel lists both. Upon arrival the front desk concierge told me the pool was out of order and the hot tub and not been working for over a year. Not sure why they are still listed on their page. Almost left and went somewhere else but then I would’ve had to try to get a refund through Expedia. Very disappointed!
