"The location and views were fantastic. We had an easy 20 min drive to Lucca each day. Perfect mix of peaceful vineyard and olive tree landscape with easy access to Lucca city restaurants and shopping. Owners and staff were wonderful. "
"In the title it’s listed as a hotel. It’s a room for rent in someone’s home. Not a bed and breakfast. Outside of the property it is filthy. Garbage, yard is not well kept. White plastic stained chairs. The flags that hang outside of the property are ripped and should be replaced. In my country it’s a disgrace to see a flag like that, The unit smells like mould. "Hotel San Marco was a wonderful place to stay in Lucca. The location is great—just a short walk from the beautiful walled city, making it easy to explore. The swimming pool was a nice bonus, perfect for relaxing after sightseeing.
Fabio at the front desk was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and even taught us a few phrases in Italian. He also gave us great recommendations for places to eat inside the walled city, which turned out to be some of our favorite meals in Lucca. The lady at the snack bar and breakfast service was equally delightful, always courteous and providing exceptional service that made mornings feel special.
Hotel San Marco offered both comfort and genuine hospitality, making our time in Lucca even more memorable."
