The hotel was very nice, clean, quiet, and convenient to the town of Lucca. The staff was very personable and helped with any request or question we had. Bicycles were available for guests which my wife and I took advantage of riding the wall around the town. The breakfast choices were excellent and staffed with very friendly people.

Great Hotel in Lucca

Great location in the city center, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The receptionist when out of her way to assits with anything we requested. I optioned for Breakfast and its well worth, high quality items and fresh.

Great location, wonderful staff, great breakfast, small but adequately equipped fitness room, not too far from train station. While room was well appointed with a nice bathroom, it was quite small for 2 people. Staff was very personable & helpful.

Good hotel in Lucca, Italy

The hotel is located well in the old city. I had lunch and breakfast outside on the sidewalk near the carousel. The food was excellent and the service superb. The room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the location. My room was in the interior and I only saw a staircase. I should have asked for a different room.

Super central, overlooking two cute piazzas. Great pizza restaurant next door. Rooms are a bit too small - even though we stayed in a mid tier one with the view. The gym is way too basic. Some dumbbells, a bench and a treadmill (and a super old elliptical). It needs a cable machine at least…

Room was entirely too small and was the only one between floors. You had to take an elevator and still walk up or down a flight of stairs. The only window looked out over a set of outside steps that were being used so no privacy. The bathroom was really dark and there was at least one light out in the bathroom. Very disappointing.

The single piccolo room was quite small, and tight space, but as expected. Bathroom layout was odd, no space for toiletries, etc. But the bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well and the room was spotlessly clean.

This property is at the heart of Lucca old town. It is a beautuful stylish renovated property with stunning rooms and feels like.a 5 star residence. The staff are exceptional wjth Antonia leading the front reception. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. The food is really great and I enjoyed several breakfasts there. I will definitely be going back to this hotel.

Centralt och bekvämt.

Vi gillade hotell Grand Universe centrala läge och den fräscha upplevelsen. Dock var vissa delar av hotellet stängt bl.a. skybar, säkert p.g.a. lågsäsong. Ingen parkeringservice tyvärr vilket medför rätt mycket merjobb då det är svårt med plats i Lucca. Incheckning tog onödigt lång tid... Icke prisvärd frukost och generellt högre priser men bra service.
