Loved the location. Easy to walk to many shops and restaurants. Historical sites are close. Breakfast is delicious with a wide range of food options; breakfast staff is friendly, helpful and courteous.

Rooms need a refresh. Doors and paiting make the room feel old. Location and general hotel is great.

Iam very disapointed and not satisfy about my stay at this hotel in paris

Rive Gauche Marriott

I had stayed here once before with a tour group. We found a good price and decided to stay again. My wife got very ill with a virus(?) while eating at a nearby restaurant. One of the servers helped us back to the hotel and from there the staff at the hotel was amazing. They had a paramedic check on us, along with staff. Then called a doctor to come check her out. He came at a little after midnight and gave her some meds and prescription. This was absolutely above and beyond. They have won us over forever.

I have over charges on my credit card. Paul at the reception desk (on 12/14/19, 8:30am) pretended that he adjusted the charges off my final invoice and then asked me "do you want the adjusted invoice emailed to you?" To which I said yes. I still have NOT received a copy of the final invoice. I now have an additional charge for $115.78 on my credit card. It's a terrible shame and a reflection on a reputable company like Marriott to have such a dishonest employee. I'm hoping that I'm not wasting my time here and someone will assist me in resolving this issue.

The property is within walking distance to Supermarket, Post, and some restaurants. It is within a 15 minute ride to other tourist attractions, Louve, Galleries Lafayette, etc. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. The staff at the hotel makes it exceptional. The airline lost my luggage for two days and members of the concierge desk, namely Morgan, Adrien and Aizmee tracked the movement of my luggage, and kept me updated on its movement and eventual recovery. This was particularly useful since my stay was a short one. They were reassuring and helpful and the front desk staff was in general pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend Paris Rive Gauche as a great hotel for both long and short-term stays and indeed I plan to revisit in the future. One small improvement that I would suggest however is to provide two bottles of water in the room on check in. It's a small gesture that goes a long way.
