Location is super prime! The property is in really good shape. There is little staff but they are very diligent.

We had a very bad experience at front desk. Our room was not ready at check in time even though we were told it would be as we arrived ahead of check in time. We were apparently upgraded but i wouldnt know as i don't know what the room i booked looked like. Rooms are typical european, very dim, old looking with hardwood floor. But our worst experience during the stay was at front desk where one team manager refused to give us small bottled water as we were heading out to start our day. We have two children and we like to drink water. At $1500/night rate you would think they would oblige but manager on duty named Osha Fenoza Renno refused and actually argued with my wife and then me about their water policy. She was loud and happily wrote down her name for me when i asked for it. Then followed me to the door asking if i also wanted her email address. It was as if to state she didnt care about me reporting her to her supervisor. One of her team leader did give us water after she saw how her manager was behaving. Her team did giggle and laugh as we were exiting the lobby. Next day this team once again refused water to my daughter. Other staff members at different shift times gave us water and one shocked when i told him of this particular mgr refusing to give us water. Location is excellent with short 5 min walk to champs elysees. Plenty of cafes, bakeries of course. But to refuse water at a presumably 5 star hotel is unheard of. If we asked for alcohol i could understand

Regarding the bottles of water, we places everyday two bottles in room, as soon as the housekeeping teams finished with their service. This applies for all the rooms. Should you need more water, of course we do have a room service and they will send you as many as you needed,it will be at your cost.However, I am very suprised to read your comment; as I did not refuse to give those waters, I told her to call the room service and send them to your room. As I remember correctly I gave your wife 4 bottles on the day of her check in (12.06.23) and the next day another 2 bottles at the reception. I also do remember that I did not argued with her. I just informed your wife about the way in which she can get the bottles. You then came in between to ask me the rules, the hotel policy and for my name written on the paper. I regret to read your comment as you just describe them above and once again we are very sorry not fullfil your expectation during your stay. We have taken your comment very seriously, this will help us to improve in the future.Note that we have done all that is necessary according to our standards. The room was beautiful. I really liked this hotel and would consider coming back. However, the staffs and their checkout system is below average. I asked for a Taxi to go to the Airport and was recommended a wrong time. The Taxi refused to put the AC on when the weather was 32 degrees (when you pay $680 per night the hotel should call the adequate car). And the check out service delayed me by more than 15 minutes when I had prepaid my room. The Taxi took the longer route delaying me by an additional 20 mins (I had Waze on so knew that) and he refused to listen. With this experience, I was 15 minutes of not being able to get on my flight so it was very stressful. The room fees shouldn't be this high considering the hotel does not offer sufficient amenities.
