The pro about the Hampton Hilton Clichey is that it is a clean, bright & cheerful hotel with a helpful front desk staff. That being said, there are many cons! First of all, we DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel if your intention is to see the sights of Paris. It is was very inconvenient to get to the metro from the hotel. Many times while trying to get back to the hotel at night from Paris, certain trains were not working or were too crowded. We had to take alternate routes which made getting back difficult and long. It often took us 40-50 mins to get back to the hotel at night, metro and walking, and this hotel is located in a sketchy neighborhood. Also, the hotel does not have a restaurant and there are few dinning options near it!! The hotel breakfast was ok, eggs were runny and gross, bacon was rubbery, and hash browns were soggy. However, there are other food options. There are no fridges in the rooms which was a bummer. Also, no TV or good Movie channels and everything is in French. At night we could not find anything to watch while we were trying to unwind from long days of site seeing. It was unbelievable that they did not have any subscription channels or the ability to cast to the TV’s so we could at least watch our own subscriptions. Lastly, the beds were very firm and uncomfortable. The hotel was way too expensive for the lack of amenities. All in all we would not stay there again

The rooms were clean and comfortable. I had a comfortable sleeps- room temperature and bed was good.The staff were also helpful. The hotel is located close to quite a few food places including a few small supermarkets.

The hotel suited me perfectly, I was here for business and it was walking distance to the site I was visiting. I am unsure about the décor, what has surfing and surf boards got to do with the centre of Paris? The only other thing that surprised me was no evening dining, but there is ample restaurants locally.

Diamond in the rough

Great hotel in the outskirts of the city. Great condition, friendly and helpful staff, and ample offerings for the breakfast. Our only issues with the room were the rolling barn-type bathroom/closet door which didn’t work properly, and it being too warm and stuffy without opening the outer window in December. The surrounding area is undergoing some much needed urban redevelopment. We were approached by some sketchy characters in this neighborhood upon our late check in, so I would recommend arriving by taxi or having a good knowledge of the bus routes to be dropped off close by.

The property was always clean and smelt lovely all the time. The area was safe and there was a variety of places to buy food from as well as convenience stores. The staff were really friendly and helpful as well.
