Beautiful stay

A simple yet wonderful place. All rooms have fantastic views of the valley and the property has nice jungle trails to walk on. We stayed at the bungalow, which is probably their best room. It is very private, clean and has a great deck overlooking the jungle and the valley. I walked into the room, looked at it and the view and walked right back up to the reception to book another night.

The rooms were alright. The walls were paper thin and our bathroom toilet wasn't completely attached to the floor resulting in a strong smell of sewer gas. The property is located on a hill next to a main highway. The noise of trucks using engine retarder bakes is deafening day and night.

We stayed one night the views were amazing and the hummingbirds at the feeders were incredible to watch along with all the other birds around the hotel. The food was also very good we had breakfast and an evening meal. The rooms were lovely all wood inside like a log cabin.

Posted 12 Dec 2021 on HotelsGorgeous lush, flora surrounded the entire hotel. Diego was very helpful….knowledgeable…..cordial…..courteous. A family oriented accommodation at its best. Even the Mama made us feel at home…sharing her plants and expertise. The breakfasts were quite filling….very tasty. Hummingbirds at both feeders at the restaurant were quite mesmerizing. Beyond a five star rating.

Great spot in hills near San Isidro De El General
Posted 22 Feb 2019 on HotelsBeautiful family-owned and run hotel perched on a mountainside overlooking a gorgeous valley. The rooms have thin-walls, can hear your neighbors a little too well. But over all, just a terrific spot. Food at the restaurant was quite good, and a perfect place to catch the sunset.

We had a terrific room with a terrific view and terrific bed. We came in the very rainy season and the staff was very accommodating- always picking us up ! Perhaps more towels , more bathroom hooks since the air is so humid! The Wi-Fi very stable and TV in the room has multiple excellent channels . We even discovered some new ones!
Food delicious and bird watching a great bonus ! Many hummingbirds vie for the feeders. Be careful, they might dive bomb you!
Did zip lining and the staff was super caring and helpful. I can recommend this place without hesitation!
