I’ve stayed here 4 times in less than a year. Our fifth time was at Pacifica but we still visited sunset for their wonderful dining options and sports bar. Will be coming back over and over again!

The junior suite rooms were adequate. The water did not get hot and the water pressure was mediocre. The people were very pleasant and helpful. The food was average at best and the extra charged theme night food was disappointing although the entertainment was cute.

The property is VERY outdated. The ceilings are falling apart. We had a leak in our bathroom ceiling. The kitchen is tiny and just very old. The very frustrating part is the poor dining service. At every thing restaurant, we sat for 30 minutes before anyone came to even pour water. Then waiting for food is another 30 minutes. It was surprising because the resort was not busy. But none of the staff really cared to give great service. The beach is nice, but it is roped off so you can’t get close to the water. It’s very quiet which can be nice. Pools were nice. The last day there was a bloody pad in the pool. The pool staff came and didn’t know what to do. They asked my 6 year old son to grab the pad out!!!!!!!! Unbelievable! My son said no and my husband ended up helping them by grabbing it with his toe, dipping his foot in. It was just so ridiculous and unprofessional how it was handled. Over I rate 2 stars. I would not come back. I especially don’t recommend with kids considering how SLOW the service is.
