The room was super dusty, not very clean. Most of the staff were very nice and a hand full was not. Best food options were Jerk chicken and buffet.

Property overall is OK if you’re looking for a hotel style - it is definitely not a resort. Property is a bit small so there’s not much walking which is good.. it’s basically 1 section of pools, beach is 10 feet away and then in the main floor (lobby) is all the restaurants/buffet. They are not too big on entertainment, I had to always ask for music to be played. Food was delicious but booking a reservation is impossible. Rooms were a decent size, for the most part they all have balconies … I was a bit upset to see some roaches in the room … that was not ok at all.

We read reviews that the property had recently been remodeled - came to the conclusion that must have only meant their lobby and larger bar area. The rooms are in need of deep cleaning and upgrades, to include more than 2 outlets and new linens. The swim-up bar smelled of garbage every time we approached. The food was something I most looked forward to, expecting fresh fruit and fresh cooked items - some fruit came from cans, including in the desserts and many cuisine items were clearly packaged and/or frozen at some point. There were a few items we discovered that were excellent though. Also do not expect a large offering of alcohol/beer - one whiskey choice and one brand of beer. We had a good time overall, but would not return to this particular property/location. The majority of the staff were quite nice at least, but could stand to pay more attention to their guests instead of each other. Our favorite was McNeil for dinner buffet service.

Most of the staff was great, but did have a very rude front desk staff. Food was horrible and booking was a nightmare. Won’t visit again.

I liked that its located right next to the Atlantis.
I didn't like that you couldn't walk across the Riu parking lot
and enter into the back entrance of the Atlantis.
You used to be able to do that a few years ago & now
I wonder why you can't anymore.
