If you find yourself in Papenburg this is a great spot. Excellent bar and restaurant and the rooms are absolutely fine.
4 minutes walk from train station if that’s how you’re arriving.
They can also organise taxis to take you on afterwards but make sure you have cash for those.
Will definitely stay again when I’m in papenburg

A Real Gem In Papenburg
Posted 29 Aug 2021 on HotelsI would call the hotel top-notch. All the facilities were excellent. The breakfast buffet was delightful and my eyes popped when I saw an automatic pancake maker. On our 2-day stay, we ate a full meal in mid-afternoon. The second day we ate in the Biergarten and enjoyed excellent steaks and wine. Our room was spotless. The hotel layout was easy to navigate. We took an early evening stroll along the canal outside the hotel entrance and it was beautiful, peaceful and romantic. Just writing about it makes me want to return ASAP. Ditto for my wife.
