Beautiful property and rooms, in the middle of rainforest and close to other attractions like Gamboa, Miraflores locks and also only 30 mins from the city! The pools were refreshing and the included breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety! Reuben at the bar was very helpful in accomodating specific requests due to our diet restrictions.

This property is out of Panama City a ways but I wanted to be closer to the birding areas in the area. The hotel was likely a jewel in its day but the years are showing. The AC seems to be uncontrolled as other reviewers have noted. In my room, although I could set the temperature it just got colder & colder without regard to the thermostat setting so I had to turn it on and off manually. I got upgraded to a balcony room & there was rust all over the railings, worse one almost needed to be Hercules to open & close the "sliding" door. The 3 pools looked fine but I didn't use them. Breakfast was full buffet style with lots of choices and the restaurant had good offerings as well. Being a golf facility too I had hoped to find a lot of birds around, but alas, that was definitely not the case. There were some but nothing like what I had expected being surrounded by rainforest.

Although in a beautiful location that does wildlife conservation, getting around and into town is time consuming and expensive. Free shuttles from the resort start running at noon, prior to that you will have to rely on Uber. Shuttles to the airport are $60 one way. When I contacted the resort to set up a shuttle from the airport I never received a response despite multiple contacts. The resort on close inspection was in terrible disrepair. A poolside bar and bbq was advertised in the booking, neither existed. Stopping at the bar I was told no food was available despite others in the bar being served at 2pm. But what set the score from a 3 to a 2 star was when I noticed the door trim on my room was loose and you could see into the ENTIRE room from the hall, HUGE privacy risk. When alerted a guy came up and just hit the trim with his hand a few times and left. Beautiful location but would not recommend.

Terrible! Outdated, far from everything dangerous balcony railing, broken rails inside elevators. Don’t waste your time if you are looking for value and quality for what you pay.

This property is run down and needs maintenance. My Presidential
Suite had old furniture, a sleeping bed that was worth less than 5 cents. No cooperation between the hotel and the restaurant or even getting towels was a hassle. Certainly not worth more than 3 stars. Restaurant has good
Food but expect about 1 hour service time. Pools are decent but gym is dirty, old and ill equipped.
Location is great but sad they have let it run down like this.
Staff is the good thing they have.

Reasonably priced, with fridge and microwave and coffee machine in the room. Great breakfast in the morning and lots of pillows 🤗

Great for rainforest tours & hiking right on the property. Included buffet breakfast was nice & filling. Property needed updating.

Good value
