Dirty, dark, unsafe and insanely expensive, total waste of money and a terrible experience.

Dear guest, we are sorry to hear you didn't have a good stay at our lodge. We tried to be accommodating since upon check in your reservation was not made for the correct amount of people and even offered a special rate. Our lodge is not dirty, is an ecological lodge where we take the satisfaction of our clients very seriously. Our property is secure and private.We will always try to help our guests in any way we can, we are sad to see that was not enough for you.

Mario was a great bird guide, but the tour was only on the property. It would be nice to have night tours and birding trips off the property. The internet service could have been better. The food was good, and the staff was helpful.

Terrible service
Posted 1 Jan 2021 on HotelsAttempted to move stay from 12/26 to 12/29, owner said there were no rooms available even though rooms were available on the website and hotels.com. Way to expensive, terrible CSR (except Hotels.com CSR was great). Recommend staying at las cabanas instead or anywhere else if you have a car

Don't recommend unless you like tent camping

+ the staff was very friendly and helpfull.
- price we booked the place room was almost twice of what it was offered for during our stay.
+ breakfast was good or perfect,
- - But dinner: Do NOT eat here. any place in the neighborhood has better food.

Beautiful place, we saw lots of birds and wildlife, food was delicious, staff were so helpful and friendly, we had a wonderful time here.

Not just a hotel but an unforgettable experience away from the typical tourist attractions. Take a hike up to the Fatima Waterfall and enjoy the peaceful water that flows adjacent to the hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
