Everything about the hotel was great! The beach was only steps from the hotel, the Plaza across the street offered shops, restaurants and bars.Taxis were readily available right outside the hotel doors. My only suggestion is that the lounge chairs on the beach need to be updated as many had straps that were broken.

Unreal how much this hotel has gone downhill in the past 3 years. We moved after one night because it was a terrible environment for us and our kids

This was my second time to the hotel with a 40 year time gap. Overall, our experience was very pleasant. In need of improvement would be the hallway carpets (replace). The hotel really should have someone cleaning the beach as there are many pieces of trash in the sand. We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants, but did have room service breakfast once and it was quite good. However, we called room service to pick up the old plates and no one ever showed and it was left out in the hallway for more than 24 hours. Be prepared for the walls to be paper thin. There was a party outside that was so loud you could hear the stereo like it was in our room up till 10 PM. It was completely inappropriate and no need for so much volume. It could’ve been any type of music and it was still obnoxiously loud and totally unacceptable. As such, we will not be going back, but that doesn’t mean others would not like the hotel.

This was my husband and my first time in Aruba. I did read the reviews before booking, and I can agree with what most said. Location is perfect. You are walking distance to so many shops, restaurants and beautiful beaches. The staff went above and beyond to make sure your stay was perfect. The grounds are well maintained and manicured, but the rooms are dated. The beach chairs could use some updating as well. They have definitely been used and loved. I knew going into this that the rooms were mentioned in previous reviews, so if that doesn’t concern you then you should enjoy your stay. The only thing I wish I knew going into this was there is an all inclusive option. I was not given the option when booking, and this may be due to using a third party site. The front desk said if you do book and want all inclusive, you can contact them and pay the additional fee per person to receive this. The restaurants on the property were good, so I would definitely recommend looking into this if you don’t care about trying different restaurants in the area as food is pricey on the island.
