Le Saline Palau
Posted 29 Sep 2023 on HotelsWe enjoyed our stay at Resort Le Saline . We were only in Palau for 2 days at the end of September so we didn’t get to take advantage of all of the amenities but we’d definitely select this place again. The villas were clean and comfortable, the kitchens had the basic necessities for cooking/ eating in (plates, glasses, utensils, coffee maker, stove, refrigerator etc) and there is a washing machine to do laundry if needed. The outdoor space surrounding the villa is also quite large with beautiful view of the water in the distance. Maddalena at reception was incredibly friendly and warm and shared a number of suggestions for the area. The on-site Mali bar was a great place to grab a cappuccino and breakfast before heading out for the day. It’s about a 7- 10 minute drive to downtown Palau where you’ll find many restaurants and shops. Overall, we enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Great villa without on-site bar/restaurant
Posted 26 Apr 2022 on HotelsThe house was big enough, super clean and well-located. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar were not opened in Apr and we were not informed about this. Daily basis we had to drive to Palau to find food or restaurant. Which is fine if we know this in advance

Bad weather.
Posted 26 May 2019 on HotelsThe weather was really bad when we were there , so much rain and constant string wind, so it is difficult to rate this place. But the bungalow was nice and seemed new. The double bed was very comfortable, but the single beds were hard as seems to be the preference in Sardinia. There was a narrow garden around the bungalow which was private at the back with sun loungers, a BBQ and an outdoor shower. The beach would have been nice in good weather and the beach bar garden behind it affords protection from the wind and is very nice. Friendly and helpful staff.

Good but not great
Posted 20 Jun 2015Cute cottages within a 5 minute walk to a good public beach. While clean and comfortable in terms of the lay out, virtually no amenities were provided. My husband likened it to moving into a vacant apartment. If you plan on cooking at all, you need to plan for some real shopping or bring along your own provisions. We had to purchase even the basics such as dish soap and a kitchen sponge, as well as any and all spices, including salt and pepper. All in all this is a pleasant and very quiet resort but traveling from Colorado we would have been happier at a location that provided more amenities. We even had to supply our own toilet paper, unexpected for a five nights stay.

We offer to the guests the same conditions for a Villa renting like the first furniture of toilette paper, bathroom kit and all the machinery as hairdryer, iron, washing machine, air conditioning.... Great place with friendly staff

Pros: Self-contained, close to beach for swimming and great access to walks and sites in north east Sardinia.
Cons: Living room is quite cramped relative to size of units and bedrooms/bathrooms: will not be a problem in high season when nights are warmer!
Stayed a week in mid May: and our experience very much like that of other reviewers. Chalets are comfortable and reasonably private. Lovely beach about 10 minutes' walk away. But - as we were warned - the only restaurants etc are in Palau, and this is a 10-15 minute drive (although the team there say a beach bar should soon be open).

Absolut traumhafte Lage. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Einrichtung ist zwar nicht vom Feinsten, für Ferienzwecke aber ausreichend.
Von der Sauberkeit her, dürfte Einiges besser sein. Als wir Kleider auf eines der oberen Regale im Schrank legen wollten, mussten wir vorerst eine dicke Staubschicht wegputzen. An der Seitenwamd der Duschentasse hatte sich Schmutz angesammelt, was sehr unangenehm war.
Aber ansonsten.....würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder eine dieser Villen buchen.
