Fantasic staff, Jill served us breakfast both mornings, what could be better than eating a full English cooked to order breakfast overlooking the sea with a pot of tea or coffee, if a cooked breakfast isn't for you then a buffet style continental is available with a selection of fruit juices.
The room we had was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated with an ensuite bathroom, overall the room rivaled and in some cases was better than most 5* hotels i have stayed in.
Unfortunately we did not take and swimwear so could not make use of the fantastic pool, spa and steam room, a mistake that we definitely will NOT be making when we go back in a few months.
Overall it is a large hotel that has managed to keep a friendly, personal feeling rather than an impersonal multi conglomerate atmosphere that you get from others thanks to the wonderful staff.
Luxury feeling, dining with uninterrupted views of the sea and a short easy stroll to the beach, ticks all the right boxes for us.

Perfect location next to the beach with great views and close to all local amenities, including the pier.
Staff are helpful and friendly.

The only thing I may say is the early checkout 10.30 could be extended

Lovely Hotel, with fantastic friendly staff, very comfortable beds, and the most wonderful restaurant looking out over the sea with views to Paignton and Torquay, breakfast was delicious!
We will definitely stay again.
