The owners / staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered. I was called the day before by some 'call centre' representing the hotel to check my arrival time. I was told by them that an 11am arrival would be fine but there was no one to be seen at this time. We returned at 1pm only to be told the room still wasn't ready as the cleaners were late and it could be as late as 5pm. We went back, again, at about 4pm to find it was finally ready. The room itself wasnt too bad, although there were a previous guests sweets and wrappers left on a window sill and some old shoes chucked on the roof directly outside our window. Also, the only hotel I have ever been to that doesn't provide towels!!! We'd only booked it to get a good view of the airshow and left immediately afterwards. Would never stay here again or recommend to anyone.

We arrived 3.30p, no staff around. When we eventually found someone we were told room not ready. Check in should have been available 3pm. We were tired after a long journey and no facilities in hotel to buy a cup of tea or cold drink. We had to walk to another establishment. When we eventually got in the room there were only 2 towels for 3 of us booked into a family room. The tray for tea and coffee making had nothing on it so we had no kettle or cups to make a drink in the room. Surprised that no TV as all hotels we stop in always have a TV

Would not put my dog in here. Full of homeless people, the pictures you displayed misleading. My wife is disabled so she cant use staircase lift not working so can't access bedrooms. We were forced to find alternative accommodation, so we never used Bonaire hotel. Please refund amount paid to settle this complaint. No further action will be taken in this regard. If refund not received within 48 hours further action will be taken. Thank you.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in next door,the radiators in the room didn't work and the quilt was really thin

Upon arrival at this property 1st impressions were not great, it had scaffolding all around and it all intents and purposes looked closed. Once we entered the property there was no one there to check us in, only a sign saying to call a number of any issues. I called the number a total of 7 times with no one answering left messages etc. Eventually a man arrived who proceeded to give us our room keys. Once we got to our rooms, the rooms at 1st glance they appeared tired but were clean, well apart from the bathroom!!! In the room I was in the toilet seat was broken, the shower was cold, the cleanliness of the shower was questionable, there was only 1 cup when there were 2 in the room!! On the plus side the hotel was warm and the beds comfortable. All in all there was no one there to make a complaint too. I wouldn’t book here again , yes it was cheap but this is a clear example of you get what you pay for. I understand that the hotel maybe going through a refurbishment but that should have been made clear at the time of booking, the photos on the site were very misleading
