They could provide larger shampoo, body wash etc especially if sharing a room. Having the kettle in the cupboard for use is also difficult if you’re short and can’t see onto the shelf properly as you need to remove it from the cupboard to fill."

In particular, they said that the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating, and the adults and children were treated very well by all staff members. "We were really blown away when we arrived at this hotel after an 11 hour flight. Bellhops and check in staff all in pristine uniforms. "The hotel is in a great location. The rooms were really nice. The staff was great. There was construction in the lobby that was affecting being able to enjoy the lobby. I was charged for a full breakfast when the breakfast was not being offered to its fullest capacity due to construction. It made me feel like customer service was lacking and I never sought breakfast at the hotel again. Other than the construction issues and mediocre service during that time the hotel is lovely. "

"Hotel was in a great location, close to transport and a walk to Darling Harbour. Rooms were nice thought the sofa was very worn and the TV channels didn’t change easily. Beds were comfy and had nice bathroom with lovely amenities. We had a La carte breakfast on our morning in their restaurant and the service was average as they were understaffed. The pancakes were terrible and coffee not great. We didn’t eat there again. Overall it was a good stay and value for money."

"Hotel dates from 1972 and has that grand feel about it with touches like the staircase railings and lift entrances. Although some updating has taken place, the carpets looked pretty new and clean some of the decor in the corridors was a bit 'tired'. My room was very clean with a kettle and coffee making facilities although the addition of a microwave would have been useful. The room had a great view of the harbour and bridge, a special mention must go to the pillows which were numerous and exceptionally comfortable. The hotel was comfortably within a 30 minute leisurely walk to the Circular Quay of the Harbour bridge. Parking in Sydney is pretty demanding so to have the use of an underground car park on site for the reasonable cost of $25 per day was fantastic. Staff were courteous at all times, Deejay was particularly helpful. "
