They should let you know before you book that the property is under construction. The walls are dirty and everything is so outdated:

Worst place I ever had so far. Dirty. Stinky. Place smells bad. Even after me asking house keeper to change towels and freshen up room. Nothing was done. I get new towels after complaining to front desk, it takes hour and half for supervisor to bring towels. Even after showing dirty mirror to supervisor.. no steps were taken. Have to ask for roll of toilet paper. This place is dirty from inside and outside. Not worth at all. This place should not be part of Expedia chain. And if Expedia does not check places out before they promote than it’s on Expedia. Not happy at all.

Place is under construction as of 6/2/2024 very dirty ants crawling all over beds sheets are stained and dirty

Hotel is conveniently located. Currently undergoing renovations which is needed. Overall clean. Staff very nice and accommodating especially front desk person John. We Had a large group that met for weekend. John allowed us to gather in the dining area which was great and took care of all our needs.

It's currently under renovation. Several areas of failure were observed along the roof and exterior walls. Most door numbers were removed and taped back. Currently in the process of removing molding/outlet covers along the hallways with debris present on the floors. A distinct mildew odor was present. Shower were outdated with inconsistent functionality. However, it was cheap.

The lady at front desk was horrible. So slow and waited on some one else when I been standing there. The man ask her 3 times a question and she never answered him. Fire alarms went off 4 times while I was there. I took a nap and crazy lady phoned me to move my car - when I got down there they said no. If they don’t get rid of that lady that hotel will never make it!!! There was one lady that was very nice to me . I believe her name was Debra. Put her at front desk. She was friendly and tried to help me !

The people who work at the Wingate (Sleep Inn) could not be more helpful and caring - from the fellow who moved me to an ADA room to the Breakfast lady Sue, the morning clerk who got me a hair dryer and even the cleaning lady. I was disappointed that this hotel doesn't have bathtubs, was not quiet, is being renovated, and my window did not lock (on the first floor - I ended up grabbing a stick from outside to secure it). Nothing insurmountable, but since I stayed for a week I would prefer more quiet and safety.
