Very friendly staff and a nice clean room. The bunk bed was a bit creaky, so a bit difficult to go to sleep when kids moved around in it.

Everything was very good.

The room was ideal. It was clean but the bin had not been emptied.

Air conditioning in France

The accommodations were otherwise standard. No complaints and nothing to be especially impressed by.

Peaceful and comfortable country hotel.
Posted 11 Jun 2020 on HotelsDespite the coronavirus situation during my stay 6-7.6.20 I had a pleasant stay. The communication was smooth and rapid. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
The room was comfortable and really worth the money. As the public areas were closed I was provided with a breakfast package outside my room. I really appreciated it.
The hotel is located just outside the village Ottmarsheim at a peaceful spot. The village is small but there are many (at least 5) restaurants and bars where you can have a meal or pick up something to eat. I loved the takeout kebab of O'Malo's. All the places are within 10-15 walk from the hotel. One can best enjoy the village atmosphere on foot. Unfortunately the river bank of Rhein is occupied by industry so it is not so easy to admire the river view.
If I had not been on a return trip to my home country I certainly would have stayed longer.

Excellent stop-over hotel
Posted 9 Sep 2019 on HotelsWe used ALS Hitel as a one night stopover travelling between UK and Italy. It is very conveniently located and has good facilities including a large car park, a good restaurant next door and a petrol station 300m up the road.
The staff are friendly and speak multiple languages and the charge for dogs is reasonable. We will use ALS again!
