I’ve stayed here countless times and usually it’s a great experience but this time was quite the exception. The staff at check-in (first time seeing this staff) was quite…rude or unfriendly for lack of a better word. No greeting upon check in (after saying checking in and giving my name), I hand my residence card (didn’t ask if it’s ok to make a copy like usual), the room was for two guests (one key this time), and didn’t even tell me the room number (just handed me the slip of paper). Room was clean but quite low water pressure, but the first time experiencing this as well, so perhaps just an older room.

APA is always a pleasant hotel to stay at!

I’ve stayed at another APA hotel in Kyoto. The staff and rooms are always a wonderful accommodation with friendly staff, clean rooms and great amenities. They’re always gonna be a choice of mines.

Cost effective

Typical APA hotel efficient and cost effective. Only gripe is the pillows which are small and hard.

conveniently located near to SETA station, 2 X 24hr convenient right beside the hotel, with several restaurant nearby, including 1 of the best Takoyaki i ever had! Newly renovated.
