Beautiful room , amazing work their doing. The “host” wasn’t very friendly to us , as if we somehow offended her … The restaurant was fantastic for dinner and breakfast .

Excellent lodge and organization

Posted 14 Jan 2020 on Hotels
The Cheetah View Lodge is part of the Cheetah Conservation Fund, a long established, effective, and informative organization supporting Cheetahs in Namibia. They do research, educate local farmers, train guard dogs who will protect livestock from predators, and more. The accommodation is very nice, with great views in a natural setting. There is a Cheetah Run (additional expense) at 8a and also a game drive to see Cheetah up close.

Unique unforgettable experience

Posted 8 Oct 2017 on Wotif
We stopped at the Cheetah Consetvation Fund after spending time in Etosha. We had heard about the incredible work they do with cheetahs and the shepherd dogs around Namibia so it was fantastic to see first hand how they operate. We were thrilled to be able to stay overnight in the new Cheetah View Lodge and the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. There is a great sense of peace and one with nature. Waking up to see the African sunrise in front of you is a great start to the day. We saw the cheetahs being fed, explored the Cheetah museum, and toured property seeing the dogs and goats. A highlight was doing the cheetah run in the morning. The meals were delicious and at the cafe we enjoyed the freshly made Dancing Goat fudge very much!! We would highly recommend this to anyone planning to stop over near Otjiwarongo - the untarred road getting there is about 45kms out but well worth it. The staff and volunteers are wonderful and a visit will not only support the amazing conservation work of CCF but also give you such an insight into these magnificent animals.

Great stay

You go there to support the organisation and its work but you also end up with wonderful service in tip top large airy rooms. The staff are great and the food wonderful and of course you are surrounded by cheetahs - whats not to like the road up there and back is a bit dusty and long but this is Namibia after all
