Very modern, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The room was very spacious and we had the superior double. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, specifically the udon noodle soup, grilled fish bar and little basque cheesecake. The Villa Fontaine Grand Osaka Umeda is excellently located, with the Midosuji line just a few minutes walk away, but it took us a little while to get our bearings around Osaka and easily find that particular route from hotel to station and back. We would highly recommend.

My friend and I stayed for two nights. Breakfast was great and the hotel was very close to the train station as well as the mall.

We stayed at several hotels on our trip to Kyoto and Osaka. Villa was definitely the most impressive. The staff is super attentive and the rooms are quite spacious compared to the other hotels that we stayed at. Also super convenient area with lots of dining options and only about 6 minutes from Osaka Station!

This was our favorite hotel of our trip to Japan. The staff were extremely friendly and respectful. The breakfast was filling and delicious. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with everything you would need. Our only gripe is that it can be a bit difficult to navigate to the hotel from Osaka/Umeda Station. There is not above ground crosswalk to reach the hotel, so you have to stay underground in the subway and try to navigate across the street. We made it work in the end, but it wasn't to most simple or convenient.

Great location from Umeda station. Many Izakaya place around hotel but quite inside the hotel. Great hot spa! Clean!
