Top Osaka Hotel Reviews

karaksa hotel grande Shin-Osaka Tower
8/10 Good
"The hotel is overall fine but it would be better if they have drip coffee in stock that they can offer either in the room or at the lobby. Drip coffee should be basic amenities but they don’t have it easily ready, which is quite disappointing. When I called to ask, we were told to go down to the front desk to ask for it, and they only have 4 in stock and they were old (expiry date within 2 months). When we asked on our last day of stay, they said they had none in stock. In my opinion, the hotel is fine but doesn’t feel like a 4 star one as it was claimed. I hope they can improve. "

The Royal Park Canvas - Osaka Kitahama

"Location and close to Shibuya station"

Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka
8/10 Good
"The reception staff was great she was easy to talk to in English and definitely knowledgeable on the area and had some good suggestions.
The lighting in the hallways going to the room was interesting gave off a scary movie vibe.
The laundry though pricey was very nice.
However they did miss making one of the beds when they cleaned the room."

APA Hotel & Resort Osaka Namba Ekimae Tower

"Amazing ONSEN, great location and best value all around!"

Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE OSAKA
10/10 Excellent
"We recently stayed at Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka and overall had a wonderful experience. The hotel’s biggest strength is definitely its unbeatable location. Being directly connected to LINKS Umeda, Osaka Station, shopping malls, restaurants, and convenience stores made our stay extremely convenient, especially traveling with family and a young child. We could easily shop, dine, and access transportation without needing to go far.
The service was also excellent — staff were professional, courteous, and efficient throughout our stay. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and very comfortable.
We booked the Quad Room for 3 adults and 1 child and found the room spacious enough by Japan standards, especially compared to many other hotels in Osaka. One downside for our family was that the beds could not be combined into a larger bed. Since our 5-year-old still does not sleep independently, sharing one bed felt a bit cramped. This is something families with young children may want to consider when booking.
Although the hotel does not have a public bath/onsen, the convenience of the location, the amenities, and the overall comfort definitely made up for it. We truly enjoyed our stay and can absolutely see ourselves staying at Hotel Hankyu Respire Osaka again on future trips to Osaka."

Osaka Excel Hotel Tokyu
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing staff, huge rooms with an amazing bathroom, budget friendly, and a beautiful view. I could not ask for more in a hotel and if I am ever back in Osaka, this hotel would be my first choice. I would give it 6 stars if It would allow me."

"This was an amazing hotel. Right next to the train station. Nice gym with an amazing view. "

Hotel Forza Osaka Namba Dotonbori
2/10 Terrible
"Air conditioning was very bad during our stay. Even with the AC fan set to high, it barely felt like any air was coming out. The thermostat was set to 20°C, which is the lowest setting, but the room still felt very hot, especially at night.
We stayed for 3 nights and were sweating every night because of how warm the room was. We complained to the front desk multiple times, but they said they could not do anything about it. They also did not have fans to provide. One staff member even suggested using the humidifier as a fan.
If you are coming from a cold place or you are a hot sleeper, I would recommend choosing a different hotel."
