Thank you for your wonderful review. We cant wait to see you back again to enjoy once more. Our Super King Bed with beautiful quality bedding. Fluffy beach towels size sheets. Excellent views of twelve Orkney Islands and our well cared for garden and ponds with fountains that the swallows play with the water.
Beautifully decorated rooms with new interiors. Lovely teas and coffees and Orkney biscuits and home made bakes. Two luxury leather reclining chairs with also leather foot stools to match. See you soon.

Good B&B, clean and friendly.

Pros: The position.
Clean rooms, friendly staff.
Relaxed attitude.
Cons: The shower and breakfast.
Very welcoming and friendly manager / staff. Clean rooms and very comfortable bed and chairs. Shower was poor (luke warm water which could not be adjusted with poor water flow). Breakfast was acceptable (cereal, toast, boiled egg - not full English).
Beautiful outlook across to Hoy with small ferry terminal serving Hoy and Flotta close by. Not inconvenienced by ferry, noise or traffic using it. Excellent position for visiting the ‘mainland’ including Kirkwall and Stromness. A car is a must although it is possible to get around by bus.

Clean and tidy

Pros: Breakfast.
Cons: Re-opening the Bar and providing an evening meal.
Location: On the edge of the beach, walking and bird watching, otherwise a car is a necessity.
We were satisfied with the accommodation, apart from the handbasin being in the room rather than the ensuite. Breakfast very good but available only from 8:15 to 8:45 am. No bar nor any food at other times. Reception only staffed in early morning .More like a B&B than an hotel. Very convenient for the ferry to Hoy.

Thank you for your review. Breakfast was not in your meal plan. You paid for room only. Your Complimentary Buffet Breakfast was Free. We do not advertise that we serve food at any times. We do not advertise that we have a bar restaurant or that we serve breakfasts. We are like other lodges accommodation only that we advertise. So wifi and Continental Buffet Breakfasts are Free to our guests.

A Lovely Bed and Breakfast
Posted 26 Jun 2016Management and staff were super friendly and helpful, kept everything in tip-top condition. Arranged transportation, introduced us to other guests, went to bat for us with auto rental company.

Wonderful, close to all sites.

Pros: Rooms and staff were wonderful.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Easy access to Stromness and Kirkwall as well as ferry to Hoy.
Clean, modern, close to all sites. Breakfast was fine and staff very helpful
