House was nice

Posted 16 Mar 2017
The carpet was stained. The pots and pans and dishes were not clean . There were no wash clothes and not enough towels for 8. But home was nice. The microwave needs to be replaced.. handle broke and a crack in the door. They need to do better up keep on the small things..

The room was clean

Posted 28 Dec 2015
The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is clean and the front staff is very cold and unfriendly but direct to the point. I'm disappointed with Global Home properties, because I was expecting a home/condominium or a private house and I got a small hotel room... Never again

They over charge your credit card!

Posted 25 Jan 2015
They claimed the house was in the Disney area close to everything, when in reality they tried to put me almost an hour away from everything. They put me a little closer when I complained. The house was decent even though there was no heat and thin blankets. The overall biggest problem I had was the "owner" took my credit card info to charge $107 for a cleaning fee...but in reality when I checked with my bank account they actually charged me $420!!! Contacted the "owner" and I was told to be patient, and I sent him a screen shot of my bank statement and basically he told me they only charged 107. Now I am going thru a whole process to try and get this money back. I highly recommend you do not do business with these people, unless you want to be ripped off!

It was a not so good experience

Posted 6 Jan 2015 on Hotels
I booked this 5bed/3bath house on and expected to get the address one month before arrival. I called the hotel manager for the address in earlier Dec. He told me that my reservation was cancelled. Hotels.com later told my reservation was good but I needed to pay additional cleaning fee for any rental less than 7 days. I told the hotel manager that I understood the additional cleaning fee but I needed the house address. Before he gave me the address, he asked for my credit card number and charged 135 dollar for cleaning fee. I received the receipt over email for this charge. Later I found out that a cleaning fee was already setup by Hotels.com. I believed that the cleaning fee was doubly charged. Other notes: We received a call the evening before we headed to the rental house. The manager said we could not check in because our reservation was not valid. I sent a photo copy of my reservation and got the issue resolved. They changed rental house location in a last minute notice (less than 24 hours before arrival). The zip code was different from original location and listed rental office. It was further away from the theme park (40 minutes to Universal Studio) and the driving was very tiresome after our daily activities in theme parks. Two rooms had no electricity on our first day staying and one bathroom had no light throughout our staying although a technician tried to work on it.
