AWESOME LOCATION AND A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. THE ROOM WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
NO TURN DOWN OR TOWELS AFTER THE FIRST NIGHT STAY ALTHOUGH IT WAS AT THE BEGINNING OF CORONA.

David, Property Manager was AMAZING to Us.
The House itself is Unique, full of Character & probably one of the most special "homes"
I've stayed in. We were treated like true Guests.

THE DEFINITION OF SELF-CATERED!
Posted 14 Mar 2020 on HotelsThere is no on-site office, day or night. We received an email hours before our arrival at 1 a.m., giving us the keypad entry code, and instructing us that our room was #3 on the second floor (no elevator, and at least 10 steps up to the front door from the driveway.so not ideal for the elderly or disabled). It went on to say that we would find the door to our room unlocked and the key on the mantel. When I tried unsuccessfully to open the door to Room #3, rattling the knob and pushing on it thinking it was stuck, a woman inside the room screamed and demanded to know who was there. Startled, I also screamed and then tried to explain. We didn't know what to do next, as it was 1 a.m. So we gingerly tried the door of room #2, which mercifully was unlocked. There was a key on the table, so we settled in, but the bed was not the king size we were supposed to get, so #3 was probably the room we should have been assigned. When I turned back the bedspread, it had a stain on the underside, and the pillowslips and sheets were unpressed. When I unfolded a "clean" bath towel in the morning, it was badly stained on both ends. The "continental breakfast" consisted of a table out in the hall, where cello-wrapped pastries were provided (no butter). You could make your own coffee, but had to refill the coffee machine yourself if required. No tea bags provided other than an herbal "sleepy-time" tea, which we certainly didn't want in the morning! No variation in the pastries every day!

Posted 20 Feb 2020 on HotelsInitially, our stay went well. The staff was friendly and attentive, even provided us with a gift as we had got married there four years before.
Bedding and towels are super comfortable and we love the large jetted tub.
Continental breakfast was a challenge as some other patrons looted it and it wasn’t refreshed before checkout, so our options were limited.
I left something in the room and contacted the hotel within four hours of checkout and was told it would not be a problem to retrieve it. In spite of this, I contacted the staff two times to arrange a time to pick it up and did not receive any communication in return, which was disappointing.

Thanks for staying with us Krista and I'm sorry that you had a tough time retrieving the item you left behind. I immediately went to the room and removed the item and placed it in a secure place for you to get next time you were stopping by our way. We recently changed phone numbers so that too might have been a possibility as to way you had a hard time getting ahold of us. The house is beautiful. Tucked back in a little oasis from the concrete jungle. Very relaxing. The rooms are very large and the bathroom is incredible. We would definitely stay there again.

Historic gem close to downtown Orlando
Posted 14 Nov 2019 on HotelsThis was by far the most unique stay I’ve ever experienced. What a beautifully kept home. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend staying here to anyone and everyone.
