Although the staff was super friendly and accomodating, the facilities were not the cleanest. They staff did let me change rooms when the first was unacceptable, but 2nd wasnt much better. The hallsways smelled like cigarette amoke covered with pine sol. For a quick night stay in a pinch, it was ok, but we will probably look elsewhere if we stay in the area again.

We needed a place to stay that allowed a late arrival (2 am) and wasn't fancy. This motel was just right.

Great price, looks like they have been improving the floors and fresh pain on the hallway walls. Beds and bathrooms were clean and comfortable.

We stayed in Oriskany specifically to be on our way to viewing the solar eclipse the next day. So, for us, it could have been less impressive, especially at the low price we got (while everything else was $800/night). It was Canine Central that night, which was great, since we travel with 2 dogs. What was particularly impressive was that when we complained about the something not working, the manager explained that we hadn't used it correctly (and he was right), but then gave us a discount, anyway! That night, there was a smell in the hallway when you'd leave the lobby area turning left, moving passed the door marked Hotel Manager. I think it's because the garbage can is there, and maybe people were depositing dog waste there. I'm sure it was an unusual situation due to so many traveling on a budget with pets for the once-in-a-lifetime solar event.
