Stayed in a motel Unit , arrived after the office was closed. Message welcoming me and where the key would be emailed to me. Left before office opened. Will be back with wife and grandson for the next trip. Drivable to Opotiki and Whakatāne.

Only let down by a strong musty smell on entering the room either due to unwashed contractors occupying the room prior or wet carpet? Otherwise a beautiful holiday park.

I stayed one-night mid-November en route to somewhere else. Very quiet as well out of season, which suited me fine.
