When I checked in the room had prior guest’s trash and the bed and bathroom smelled terrible. The couch had blood stains. Gave my laundry to be cleaned and it came back stinking like urine. The food was also bad.

I wanted to tell the cons. first 1.) Property is away from ooty town. You need ken vehicle 2.) You cant have outside food, you will be forced to eat hotel food, there are no any varieties and very pathetic taste and dishes. I will give 2/10 for food and its overpriced 3.) The road to this hotel from ootty is in pathetic condition 4.) Room service and e evrything closes by 10 so if you have party with friends and want something..no options as no outside food and no inside

View from the room is amazing , but the when we opened the washroom door there was a strange awful odor in the washroom, the in room dining menu sucks it’s barely any menu … the breakfast was good with so many options …. The staff were great in greeting , but the room lacks so many amenities, no iron , no hot water 24/7 , no fridge , on some occasions our room service was horrible we had to call like 3 times to enquire about the order ….. it’s barely a 3 star resort …..

Friendly staff, clean and luxurious interiors

Pleasant stay , we enjoyed. Most important highlight was friendliness of all the staff. Clean and luxurious room. Food is nice with little variety to offer.

Hotels.com should not advertise this hotel. Services are very limited. Place is not 1.6 Km from Ooty center. It is nearly 7 KM. Maps does have the right direction. I think i should be refunded part of my cost. Would not recommend to friends.

Yes we are a little away from the main market but that’s the beauty of our property. Guests can relax and rejuvenate here away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There are two roads from which you can access the road and the road which passes through the Tea Factory is in good condition and cars ply on this road quite regularly. We are a reputed company and have over the years built a strong brand equity by providing quality accommodation and services to our guests; therefore we are surprised at your feedback. Your comments and feedback appears to be a motivated attempt to portray a wrong perception of our property!

The property looks very pretty and has a nice view of the city. sadly our stay was a bit disappointing as we had chosen this hotel due to it having a spa. they never advised in advance that the spa was closed for renovation. so we payed a much higher price for a hotel that had no spa or internet. the internet did not work during our entire stay. considering some of the phones did not get a signal at the property, that mean being out of touch and not being able to research places to see. so overall a disappointing stay. the only bright side is that the staff was very nice. in the future the hotel SHOULD list on it's website that it's spa is not working. honestly if we had been not as nice customers we would have had a fit over the false advertising.
